WM W Bro William Durman PPGSW of Hambrook Lodge 8909 meeting in Stapleton, arranged his summer activity by having train to pub adventure, starting at Shirehampton Train Station near to Avonmouth Masonic Hall and finishing at Bristol Temple Meads several pubs and some stops later.
Members of Hambrook Lodge and W Bro Mathew Brown of Lodge of Sincerity and Royal Lebanon Lodge started at The Lamplighters Pub on this glamorous sunny day with views across the River Avon to Pill, and where the area is bustling with water sports activities. A few beers
afterwards everyone headed to Clifton Down on the train, where more enjoyment was shared in pubs and lunch was at a slow cooked food, street food café recommended by W Bro Brown and it’s said to be amongst the best of its kind in Bristol.
Now on to Redland Station and drinks at the popular Gloucester Road and famous for independent retail businesses; before re-boarding the train at Montpelier Station and onwards to Temple Meads.
The day was incredibly enjoyable and such adventures are easy to arrange, great for friendships and wonderful for Freemasonry.
